Lily is a 7 year old female basset hound. She is on the small side for a basset at about 45 lbs.  She is very sweet, gentle and loves attention!! She has always had another dog in the home and is very loving with kids and babies. She comes from a home with two toddlers. She is not a high maintenance dog, she has no health problems. She does not like to be left home alone. She will howl and cry if left alone for too long. She does not mind being outside as long as there is another dog. She prefers being inside and is use to sleeping inside. She would be a great dog for someone who is looking for a companion. That is exactly what she is a great companion!  She would be perfect for a family either looking for a companion for their dog or a retired person looking for a sweet dog for company. She does like to go for a walk here and there (very good on leash) but does not need lots of activity, she is happy laying at your feet.
