Charlie is a very social hound.  He does not like to spend a lot of time alone.  He prefers to be with Sadie or playing with the other hounds in the home.  Charlie is a big strong boy.  He has a healthy appetite and unfortunately does not hesitate to try and get his own second helpings.  He is food protective except with Sadie.  He loves to lay on the dog furniture or the people furniture if you let  him. Charlie is   a great leash walker and is happy just running around the yard or talking a walk.  He is a people dog as well as is Sadie.  He likes to be at your feet or on your lap.  He can be sneaky when food is involved.  He is healthy and active.  He likes to play with toys and will play with a ball or toy.  Charlie is still adjusting to the lost of his former people dad.  He becomes anxious at night and needs to be reassured and comforted  before bedding down.  He still struggles with being left alone and does not do well being crated.  
 
Both Charlie & Sadie need to go to a home where they will be with people for most of the day.  They have not yet completely adjusted to the loss of their owner and will seek comfort often during the day.
 

They are both such lovers.  They will fit in great with a family with kids, a senior home or a home with a stay at home person.
