Peach: Red & White Female. Peach is the most mellow of the girls. She & Nemo are the 1st to fall asleep in my lap. This little redhead snuggle bug is a Mama's girl. She uses Lucy like a jungle gym; climbing on her back, chewing her ears, collar & tail. When she plays with her litter mates she is the tail chaser.
"Lucy", a Beagle/Basset Mix was found wandering the streets very pregnant. Good samaritans attempted to take her to a local animal shelter but were diverted to Golden Empire Basset Rescue when confronted with the shelter's 7day stay then destroy policy for ALL intakes. On Lucy's 7th day in her foster home she delivered 8 healthy puppies.(3Female/5Male). As a tribute to Lucy's Mickey Mouse shaped spot, her Litter's theme name is " Finding Nemo".
