Rambo, born on 06-07-08, is a young, sweet and very affectionate hound who is always looking to play.   He enjoys being with people, playing with toys, going for walks, sleeping on the couch and playing with other dogs.  He loves to give kisses to just about anyone who will let him – including other dogs!  He is not territorial with other dogs but instead will take his “play pose”.   He, like most Bassets, is very treat motivated and because of this (and his quickness to adapt), he has conquered his house breaking issue in less than two weeks.  He does not suffer from separation anxiety – and is quite fine by himself in the house (or crated).  He does very well in the car and loves to sit in the front seat when he can.  He does not chase cats, but has chased a few hares and deer in our backyard (very badly we might add).  Rambo is a joy and a constant laugh to have in our house and we think whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will feel the same.
