Professor Chaos' foster mom has been calling him Strawberry Freckleface, or Freckles, which he is now answering to!  Originally named after a South Park character, don't let the name fool you!

Professor Chaos and his littermates came to GGBR from the Sacramento City shelter at just 2 days old.  Their mom, a purebred Basset, wandered into someone's backyard to give birth.  Mom and the other pups have already found forever homes.  Professor Chaos is still waiting for his.

We believe that Professor Chaos' dad was an American Eskimo... who'd have thought that?  He and his siblings sure are cute!  Check out the Ollie's Story page on this website to see the tale of two of his brothers and just how happy these dogs are!

Professor Chaos has recently been enjoying the benefits of life in a doggie day care/residential board and train situation and is doing very well.  A little on the shy side, he needs an owner who understands that people and especially children shouldn't just rush up to the Professor to say hi... once he knows and has been properly introduced to you, he's sweetness itself. He will do very well with another, more confident, dog for company, and needs to be with children who are at least 10 yrs old and who know how to respect an animal.

PROFESSOR CHAOS COMES WITH THE OFFER OF A FREE INTRODUCTORY SESSION TO EITHER A BEGINNERS CLASS, OR A MARSHMALLOW CLASS (especially for shy/fearful dogs) AT THE DUBLIN LOCATION OF ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS.  His sibling Jamal, now called Schnuffie, has loved his training there and the owner has one of the Professor's sisters (Jimmie, now called Jenny).  So, he would be with family!
