Note: Lexi has an adoption pending. She will be going to her new home as soon as she recovers from her whole mouth dental extraction.

Ten-year-old Lexi is a charming basset/beagle mix. She is a calm, easy-going and happy dog. At only 28 pounds, Lexis is a convenient, compact size, too. Lexi has one cloudy eye, but the vet says that it is nothing serious and has ruled out glaucoma. She underwent an extensive dental treatment which involved removal of all of her teeth, because of severe decay and bone loss. When she has recovered, she will be available for adoption.

Special Needs: Lexi arrived with severe dental disease which required extraction of all of her teeth. She requires soft food and her tongue will probably always hang out of her mouth.
