Lady Bird is a 3 1/2 year old  female who was purchased by the surrendering owner as a puppy from a breeder in Alabama. She tends to be timid especially around other dogs. According to the owner, Lady Bird enjoyed the company of the owner's 8 year old sister when the sister lived with them so it is presumed that she is good with children that age. She is housetrained and seems to be healthy except for chronic dry eye issues requiring daily medication.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Lady Bird came to GGBR with cherry eye in both eyes. Surgery was done for those conditions but one of the cherry eye conditions returned. Rather than try to repair the eye, the veterinarian decided to remove the gland. Lady Bird will have chronic dry eye and will need daily medication for treatment of that condition permanently.
