Charlie, a cocker spaniel/basset mix, is a neutered 14 year old. There are cocker spaniel features very much in evidence: soft fur, furry feet, cocker face... but still a basset! He is very mellow and great with other dogs. Charlie has a thryoid condition for which he takes medication. He has a tumor on his liver which is in the process of being evaluated and he is taking liver support medication. He also has just been diagnosed with Cushing's disease. He is badly in need of dental treatment but dental care cannot be performed because of the risk posed by his health conditions. That being said, Charlie is a very happy fellow who enjoys his life in his forever foster home.
