HARDY AND LAURA TOGETHER AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION BEGINNING APRIL 1, 2018

Hardy is probably 8 or 9 years old, and when he arrived from the shelter he was severely underweight, each rib could be counted, very shy and nervous about life in general.  He was rescued with Laura, whom we suspect is his mother, since she bathes him every morning like he was six weeks old.  They are definitely a bonded pair and do everything together.

Both of his eyes were operated on on 3/29  as his eyelashes were ingrown and it was hard for him to see.  He is blossoming more each day, learning to play with the other basset in the household, and will sleep on the bed at night without moving.  He is so pleased he's allowed to do all sorts of doggy things without being hassled.
