So far GGBR has spent over $3000 just on Olive, whose difficult to manage diabetes needs costly vet supervision, insulin shots, and a very dedicated foster home.

This poor girl was found wandering as a stray five years ago. No one came to claim her so GGBR stepped in to rescue her. As you can see from the photos she was severely emaciated and in poor health. Since being with GGBR, it was found that she is diabetic, has serious heart issues, and she has cataracts causing blindness. In late September, it was learned that Olive has an anal gland tumor. 

In the continuing care of a very experienced GGBR foster home, Olive's need for diabetic care with strict monitoring is met.  In spite of Olive having serious health issues, she is a very happy girl, receiving the  love and special care she so deserves,
