Susy is a very small mixed beagle/basset. She was pregnant when she first showed up in the Kings County shelter in September, 2023. Her owners reclaimed her then, but. in January, 2024, after her puppies were weaned, Susy was surrendered to the shelter. Susy is very sweet, playful and loves the other dogs.  Sleeps well, eats well.  Susy has had her vet visit and will be spayed on February 7. Susy is happy and playful at home, but is fearful of leashes and of leaving the house. She will need some gentle exposure to new experiences and to leash walks.
