Bandit, an 11 year old senior basset, has been an outside dog for many of his recent years. He is a gentle, loving fellow who is enjoying the attention he is receiving from his foster family, with whom he will likely live out his remaining years. Bandit, who came into GGBR in 10/21, has health issues typical of many senior bassets. He has two large masses on his torso which were determined to be not cancerous. He also has discomfort from his back and hips, affecting his mobility. He has shown improvement in his mobility and comfort since being on rimadyl. Skin issues affect this fellow; he benefits from a periodic cytopoint injection. Bandit has eye issues which cause some discomfort and limit his vision. His eyes will be examined by an eye specialist in late March. More about Bandit (Olivehurst)Good with Dogs, Good with Cats
