14th Annual GGBR Waddle

Watch for more information on this one - look at past year's photos and video. This is a MUST ATTEND event for ALL basset hound owners within traveling distance! We get around 100 bassets every year walking down Grant Ave in Novato as part of their annual 4th of July Parade. Afterwards, join us for our picnic at the Marion Park Baseball Field (at the end of the Parade Route). This year we have even more attractions and amenities for you as we work to make this the finest Waddle event on the west coast!

Niles Dog Show

Join us for this fun event! No AKC registrations required for this show. Lots of vendors and booths, and fun events for your hounds. GGBR will have an adoption booth plus a MICROCHIP booth, so please spread the word. We offer a microchip, inserted by a qualified and licensed veterinarian or vet tech, to include registration, for around half the price you would normally pay your vet! We need lots of bassets and basset people to spread the word on Rescue and the breed.

A couple of our members, Tom and Marilyn Bickell host this annual 'members only' weekend up at their ranch! Camp sites by the stream, or use one of the available beds in several buildings on the lot, or simply bring an airbed and take up some floor space with the hounds!! Contact us for more information if you are a member and are considering attending. Further information will be mailed to members closer to the event.

Howl at the Moon and Whine Festival

Annual fundraiser... Silent Auction, Spaghetti Feed, Grand Prize Raffle, Entertainment, Beer, Wine and Soft Drinks... $20 entry (or $25 to include a GGBR etched beer or wine glass).
