This is a huge 'Open House' event for UC Davis, with lots to see and do. We form part of their focus on their vet school and animal rescue. We always have a booth there, and we ALWAYS look forward to seeing many of you stop by and spend some time with us, spreading information about the breed, and about rescue, spay and neuter in particular.
A lot of people come by
the rescue booths at UC Davis in an effort to decide on the breed of
dog they want to rescue, so we get a lot of enquiries and interest.
It's great when we actually have rescue dogs there... so anyone with a
foster dog should definitely try to attend. If you did rescue your
hound, you can vouch for the success you have had and give a first hand
account of the experience.

What a great little parade! Hope you all enjoyed it. We had at least 25 bassets walking. This is a great rehearsal for the Novato Waddle on 4th of July. Imagine FOUR TIMES that number of bassets... ending at the baseball field where you can hang out and picnic with all the other basset folk and dogs! Watch this space for announcements re registration for this year. And don't forget to buy your TShirts!!!!

I'll
add a 2009 Spring Fling page, with more photos as soon as possible.
Thanks to everyone who joined in and made the journey to the Foothills.
