Dory: Tri-Color Female. Dory's markings are very much like her side-kick, Nemo's, except she has one front paw that is all white without brown. She is the most vocal (the rest of the litter is fairly quiet). She is also the happiest to see people & most upset to see them go. Her tail wags double time in comparison to her littermates.
"Lucy", a Beagle/Basset Mix was found wandering the streets very pregnant. Good samaritans attempted to take her to a local animal shelter but were diverted to Golden Empire Basset Rescue when confronted with the shelter's 7day stay then destroy policy for ALL intakes. On Lucy's 7th day in her foster home she delivered 8 healthy puppies.(3Female/5Male). As a tribute to Lucy's Mickey Mouse shaped spot her Litter's theme name is " Finding Nemo".
