Dexter is a happy, loving,  intelligent boy with a very gentle  
disposition. He enjoys being with his people, snuggling on the couch,  
playing with his toys, and interacting with other dogs. He adapts  
readily to new situations and is a good traveler. He loves going on  
walks and is a joy to be with on walks, happily taking his leash in  
his mouth at the start of the his walk. He sometimes chases his tail  
when he plays by himself and when fed, turns circles as his food bowl  
is being put down for him. He easily shares his human's attention  
with other dogs and does not display territoriality. Dexter is not an  
emotionally needy dog, his tail is always wagging and he responds  
happily to any attention he receives. He seldom barks and is not at  
all distracted by sounds or activity in the neighborhood. Whoever is  
lucky enough to adopt Dexter will have an adorable, loving companion.
